Island Blush

A light blush pink with a cooling and soothing lavender tipped beard, Island Blush stole our attention in a very competitive color class. It starts with the color, a pastel pink so soft, gentle, and smooth. From there, we were taken by its immaculate flower form set upon towering stalks each filled with eight or more buds. Add to that, it's a strong grower. That's how one stands out in a crowded field. Island Blush grows tinted foliage, produces a slight fragrance and was inspired by our Jimmy Buffet tribute theme. This beautiful and fitting name was proposed by not one, but two of our green-thumbed enthusiasts - Peggy B. from Menoken, ND, and Sue Ellen G. from Johnson City, TN.
